Hedy Lamarr was an actress and inventor. She appeared in over 30 films throughout her career and was known for being a Hollywood beauty. It was not until much later that the general public found out that she was a brilliant mind in STEM. Hedy co-invented an early version of the frequency-hopping spread spectrum.
