Iva Toguri

Iva Toguri was a Japanese-American disc -jockey working in Japan during the second world war. She was forced by the Japanese government to say certain things in English over the radio to America POWs. She used sarcasm and inflection that would not have been recognizable to non-bilingual people. After the war she was arrested as a traitor to the United States and put in prison for more than six years.
