Rosemary Kennedy

Rosemary Kennedy was born differently abled. She was the oldest daughter in the Kennedy family and her parents went to great length to try to make her “fit in”. As an experimental procedure Rosemary was give a prefrontal lobotomy at the age of 23. This incapacitated her for the remainder of her life. Because of this her siblings, nieces, and nephews started organization like the Special Olympics and Best Buddies.
