Wilma Rudolph

Wilma Rudolph was an American sprinter. She became the world-record-holding Olympic Champion in track and field following her success in the 1956 and 1960 games. Wilma contracted Polio when she was a child and had to visit multiple doctors and take physical therapy to regain complete use of her legs.
